Rabbi Yossi Paltiel
Class One: This class includes (only) Perakin 1-2. It reviews the Previous rebbe's Ma'amar by the same name taught exactly 20 years before in Elul 5740. There are two levels in each point of this Ma'amar, one is deeper and higher and removed from the world; the other is closer to the world and lower. This will change at the end of the Ma'amar.
Class Two: This class includes about half the Ma'amar. It is the Biur on the two levels of פני הוי'ה; the lower level has an indirect connection to חיצוניות, while the higher level has no connection to חיצוניות at all. The Rebbe explains these two levels in (1) worlds, (2) levels of the Neshama, (3) levels of Godliness. And he adds an even higher level. The class concludes with paralleling these tow levels to the two ideas of לך אמר לבי whether it means בשלחותך (the lower level), or it means במקומך (the higher level).
Class Three: This third class on this Ma'amar reverses direction by speaking of the notion of חידוש (novelty vis-a-vis God!). The lower and outer Avoda has the distinct advantage of being a Chidush (novel) renedering it advantageous over the higher and internal level. Je comparses this to the King in the Field vs. the King in the palace. He (also) explains why after meeting the King in the field (the level of Chidush) we mustt (still) go into the palace.
